Day 02 - Where You'd Like to Be in 10 Years

:sigh: I always have trouble with these sorts of questions. I guess I used to be better at them prior to being married…but now that I am married, so much depends on my husband, and what my role is to support him in what he’s doing, that it’s a little more complicated of a question to answer.

So, let’s start with the most basic one. In Ten Years:

- I will be about to celebrate my 14th year of marriage to My Love

- I hope to be doing art in more of a full-time capacity. I’d love to be doing a hodge-podge of things like consulting with people to decorate their homes, design nurseries, paint commissioned pieces of artwork for various people, sell my own work, and hopefully even be working on (or already illustrated, written, and published) a children’s book. I just want to continue pursuing art, and learning as much as possible.

- I hope to be a formidable force with power-tools, and an accomplished do-it-yourself-er.

- Beyond that, I will be working alongside my husband to help him do whatever it is that he’ll be doing.

- I hope, by then, to be a godly woman of great character. That is kind of a loaded statement, and I might expound on it later, but not right now.

- While this last one is silly, it’s also unlikely. I’d love to be in the same house that we move into after this one. I hate moving. I mean, it’s fun to be somewhere new, but since we’ll probably still be in this same general area, I hope we can stay in the same house. I moved once when I was extremely little, and then my family moved once more sometime before high school, I think. So, until I went off to college, “home” was somewhere I lived for 5+ years at a time. So, if at all possible, I think I’d like to stay in the same place for awhile. Although, I'll try to be flexible, whatever happens.

Mmmm…I’m sure there’s more, but that’s all for now.
