Continued Progress...

It takes a really long time to strip paint off of something.

I'm getting close...



...to getting all the paint off of ONE filing cabinet. To be fair, it's not like I've devoted myself fully to this project. With Thanksgiving and a house-showing, I've been a little distracted. But goodness, I'm ready to be done stripping both of them and moving on to staining and finishing! Looks like it's going to be a bit longer.

I still need to get stain, as well as some sort of cleaning solution to wipe everything down with so it's ready to be stained.

I'm having a really hard time deciding for sure what to do with them. I really want to stain them, ESPECIALLY after working this hard to expose the wood. But I can't decide on a color. I originally wanted the crisp white...but that would have been in paint, not in stain. Then, I thought I wanted the pickled white...but there are so many color options to choose from, I'm struggling!!!

So, I'm thinking I might have a vote...I don't know how to do it though. I don't have very many followers, and I'd really like some constructive input on this...any ideas?
