Here is the front
Here's an up-close shot of the front.
And close up on the detail!
I've actually primed it already, and added a first coat of paint. I'll post those pictures later tomorrow. So far, it's looking fabulous!
Just as a teaser, this will be my next project.

I've got to finish all of my furniture projects by Monday, because we've got the realtor coming by to check everything out! Keep your fingers and toes crossed that it all gets the green light! If all goes well, we should officially be on the market by the end of the week!
:insert cartwheel here:
I still have a TON of things to organize, and I have a growing pile of "stuff to get rid of," which is a good thing...except for it's taking up a whole lot of my garage, and it's hard to feel like I've made progress when that huge pile is staring at me. Rumor has it that the church is having a garage sale to raise funds for the new church building, and if that's the case, I can contribute all of it to that...but I don't know where I'll be able to keep it until then. :/
Today, I got a major good deal at Home Depot. I've been looking for a replacement light for the chandelier in our kitchen. Originally, we were going to hire an electrician to remove the chandelier, and install recessed lighting where it should be...only when he came to give me an estimate, he wove this beautiful picture of a completely re-wired kitchen...which would have been awesome, but would have cost a bajillion dollars, and wouldn't increase the selling price of our house. So, I started looking for track lighting, because I thought that might be a good compromise. I couldn't find any track lighting new for under $40. I found a few on craigslist, but nothing that really jumped out at me...and they were $35ish. As a last-ditch effort, I decided to go ahead and swing by the lighting section at Home Depot while Shannon and I were there today, just to see if they had anything. I was not optimistic. However, bleak as the search began, up on the highest part of the very last shelf was a light that was marked discounted. Couldn't really tell, but it looked like it said $22. Turns out, it was the last one of its kind, was the floor model, and was only $22! Not only that, but because one of the bulb covers is slightly discolored, they knocked the price down to $20!!! WOOOOOHOOO!!! To top that all off, one of our friends is going to be able to come over next week and swap the lights out for us, in exchange for the amazingly budget-friendly price of chocolate chip cookies! :D What a blessing!
We also found beautiful plants, mulch, sample of a paint color I needed, and possibly something else...I just can't remember what it was. I can't wait to post pictures of the driveway (we pressure-washed it), the new and improved flower bed, and whatever changes we make to the front flower bed. I am kicking myself for not taking before pictures of the backyard flower bed. The transformation is epic. And this entire trip saved me literally hundreds of dollars that I would have spent on landscaping and an electrician. What would I do without these amazing people I'm so fortunate to call my friends? I don't even want to imagine.
But now, it's off to sleep with me. Early morning to church; I'm running slides for worship. Then, it'll be back home to get more stuff done! I've got to finish sorting through the garage, and get to work on the closets/attic tomorrow. Two more days before the realtor review!
I think I'm insane.
And I'm really regretting not taking more "before" pictures of the house.
:sigh:

How'd running slides go?
It went really well, actually. I had a lot of fun. The kids played REALLY well, of course, and I just kind of rocked out in the back while I clicked slides.
