27. Sensory Memories - You know, when you smell something that just takes you back to a certain time or place? Sometimes, the right mix of nicotine and perfume make me think of my grandmother. A certain uber sweet cherry smell reminds me of a scented stuffed animal I had as a little girl. Smells I can't identify remind me of people's houses that I haven't stepped into in decades, old school buildings/classrooms, specific moments in time that I can't recall...much less recognize why they meant so much to me that I would remember them after all this time. But I think it's amazing and fascinating that our brains work in that way.
(I found a picture of the poodle! Apparently it was Yum Yum Cherry Cherry Poodle. Creative, huh? -- oh, and she glittered. Haha!)

28. Lazy days. I had every intention of getting a ton of stuff done today. And, I did not. But it was kind of wonderful...even though it means I have to get up really early tomorrow to make up for lost time.
29. Spontaneous dates. The hubby and I went out today to pick up our new glasses, and ended up going to a movie! It was lots of fun. Can't beat that! :D
30. My wedding rings. I love that they used to belong to my mother-in-law, and that they were given to her by my husband's father. It's almost like a relic...from the time where his mom and dad were in love, and when they were a whole and happy family. I love that they are both a part of his past and our future. It's very cool.

I'd forgotten that you have Mom's wedding rings, that is so cool.
What movie did you see? Intersted in seeing Steppin' Up 3-D on Friday? Mom's wanting to go see it, and I think we might make it a double date.
awww - this posting is precious! :)
