Christmas Countdown DIY

Inspired by this project over at Drab to Fab, I attempted to tackle this for myself as a present in our staff gift exchange party.

I do not have a "My Metal Guy" like she does, so I did the cookie sheet variety. I did not take step-by-step pictures, as I was in a bit of a hurry, but I think the end result is rather nice. The only thing I'm having trouble with are the numbers. I used textured scrapbook paper for the little rectangles, and am completely unsure of what to use for numbers. I tried drawing them on with a sharpie, but the paper was too rough and it made the whole project way too "homemade" looking. I'm going to have to get creative, and fast!

Also, I couldn't find a frame magnet, so I ended up buying a holiday scrapbook sticker set, and I attached a magnet to the back of the little gift, so you can move the present from day to day. Once it's the 25th, you put the present under the tree! What do you think?

I'm really proud of it! ^_^
